VISUM
An interactive network data management software which makes it possible to overlay a given travel demand on top of an existing or planned traffic network, covering a wide range of application areas, including network design, network analysis and network variant assessment.
VISEM
Allows the creation of trip matrices and, specifically, the calculation of travel demand matrices within a given planning area, based on such parameters as behavioural population group membership and activity chains. Trip generation, trip distribution and travel assignment are performed using a disaggregated activity chain model.
VISSIM
Software for various application areas, such as the detailed modelling of traffic flows at major intersections and on road networks, the simulation of all traffic, including motorized vehicles and pedestrians crossing the roads in the given area, the determination of traffic- and signal control-related parameters, the calculation of emissions, and the 2D and 3D visualization of vehicle movements within the network.
Traffic Designer (EDV – Dr. Haller)
A software suite consisting of three modules: Project-SIGNPOSTS for the automated design of traffic signs of all types, including exact sizing in compliance with the relevant traffic signs regulations; Project-ROADWORKS for the creation of roadworks safety plans; and Project-ROADMARKINGS for the design of road surface markings in compliance with the German road marking regulations.

LISA+
A traffic engineering software for the planning and management of traffic light systems, using state-of-the-art methods for the development of traffic light control systems and the evaluation and coordination of signal time plans. Such plans can then be visualized and traffic-dependent control signal systems can be tested in simulated scenarios.
SoundPLAN
The calculation of road traffic noise is based on two parameters: noise emission and noise exposure. In calculating noise emissions, a distinction is made between point, linear and area sources of sound, taking a variety of factors into consideration, including the influence of distances, the diffraction of sound around obstacles, air and soil absorption, and the influence of weather and reflection.
